The Wildlife Survival Sanctuary is a ten-acre sanctuary for exotic animals located east of Spring Hill, Florida, near the small town of Masaryktown. It is a non-profit organization founded in 2000, which operates entirely on the strength of volunteers. Their primary mission is to provide a permanent home for abandoned or donated exotic species.

The sanctuary is not normally open to visitors, although open days are held quarterly where the public is invited to view the animals and grounds. With prior agreement, it is possible to organize excursions throughout the year. Tours for individuals and groups are reasonably priced and last about an hour and a half. For more information about the tour, check out the official website below. The animal population in the sanctuary changes from time to time. They usually have several species of big cats, including the tiger, leopard, cougar, and lynx. As of this writing (spring 2018), they also had ring-tailed and brown lemurs, an iguana, a sulcata tortoise, an emu, and a pot-bellied pig. More animals are acquired from time to time. However, it is the organization’s policy not to breed or sell its animals. While the Wildlife Survival Sanctuary has a set fee for tours, general admission is by donation during open houses. The organization emphasizes that all donations and payments go towards operational costs and animal care. The farm has a well-stocked gift shop where you can buy many interesting and unusual items. Education is the main aim of the reserve and volunteers are always present during open days to provide information about the animals there. Local schools use the reserve for field trips where students learn about animal conservation in the wild and why exotic animals are not good pets. Don’t forget to check out this place in Spring Hill too.

Their mission at Wildlife Survival is to save animals without prejudice. They do not intentionally breed or sell our animals. They do not take our animals into public spaces or allow direct contact with the public. We were founded to provide our rescued animals with an oversized natural habitat where they can live out their lives in peace while receiving the best possible care they deserve. Their animals call the sanctuary their permanent home where they can be safe from harm. If you are ever in need of home and foundation repair, click here.
